The Integration Between FNT Command and dcVue™ Enables Users to Accurately Identify IT Assets, Optimize Planning, and Reduce Downtime
New York, New York (May 17, 2024) – FNT Software, a leading provider of software solutions for the integrated management of IT, data center, and telecommunication infrastructures worldwide, today announced a joint solution with partner DCVUE, LLC, a provider of IT asset inventory solutions, to facilitate IT asset management for customers in the data center area. As part of the partnership, FNT Command and FNT StagingArea now seamlessly integrate into DCVUE’s IT asset management software, dcVue, enabling users to accurately identify IT assets and their physical locations within a data center.
FNT Command provides a comprehensive overview of all areas of IT infrastructures and provides intelligent reporting while FNT StagingArea exchanges, compares, and imports large volumes of heterogeneously structured data. dcVue, which includes associated Android-based mobile devices, is used to verify assets within data centers. Once an accurate picture of a company’s data center assets and their location is compiled, the system can be used for auditing, monitoring, and recording asset movements, additions, changes and deletions from the inventory.
Through the integration into dcVue, FNT helps operators achieve high accuracy of asset information, minimal downtime for maintenance and repairs, optimized planning of equipment purchases and expansions, and a simplified software user interface.

FNT Command then utilizes accurate, up-to-date asset information to build out a model of the data center. dcVue’s verification audit further utilizes data from FNT Command to verify location and configuration information while on the data center floor.
