Management and Configuration

FNT Monitoring‘s clear user interface allows a detailed configuration of monitoring data combined with escalation routines, a precise time control, determining the criticality as well as alert and notification functions.

Monitoring

In a web-based surface the modern product architecture allows remote data access, for example on site at a data center or from a central control desk. The integrated dashboard displays key information graphically and lets you pull and filter additional details directly for a detailed analysis.

Alerts and Event Assignment

When a predefined threshold value is exceeded, an alert is generated conjoined with the configured prioritization, criticality and event classification. The user has a range of options for viewing events and identifying the possible causes. In cases of exceeding predetermined thresholds, alerts will be generated combined with an overview of predefined prioritization, criticality and event classification. The user has various options to view and process alerts.

Notification

The notification settings in the event of an error can be precisely controlled and are based on the level of escalation. The relevant person in charge will be notified on time by text message, e-mail or phone.

Historization of Measured Data

The unlimited data historization of measured data in a dedicated database enables long-term evaluation and supports the identification of recurring incident pattern. Additionally this data builds the foundation for validating planning scenarios.

Reports and Trend Analyses

FNT Monitoring features integrated reports which allow pulling information of individual hosts or services over a defined period of time. This helps to create alert statistics and trend analyses in clear diagrams which accurately reflect a data center’s situation.
