DCIM Solution Positioned for Completeness of Vision and Ability to Execute
Parsippany, NJ (October 11, 2016) – FNT Software, a global leader in integrated data center management solutions, today announced it has been recognized as a Visionary in Gartner’s 2016 Magic Quadrant for Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) Tools. This is the third year FNT Software has placed in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for its FNT Command DCIM tool.
Gartner states, “Data center infrastructure management (DCIM) tools monitor, measure, manage and sometimes control data center resources and energy consumption of both IT-related equipment (such as servers, storage and network switches) and facilities infrastructure components (such as power distribution units [PDUs] and computer room air conditioners [CRACs]).”
FNT Command offers a powerful DCIM tool to allow users to document, plan, and manage entire data center infrastructure inclusive of building infrastructure, IT assets and telecommunication networks via an integrated system that offers end-to-end visibility of IT services.
“We believe Gartner’s acknowledgement of FNT Software as a Visionary attests to our commitment to grow and drive advancement in the DCIM world,” stated Nikolaus Albrecht, CEO at FNT Software. “Our flagship product, FNT Command is well-positioned to address physical and virtual IT functions, and enables real-time monitoring to aggregate and analyze data to drive efficiency in the data center. The integration of our service and catalog management solution, FNT ServicePlanet, we feel proves our visionary approach toward Data Center Service Management.”
