The challenge of data management in large-scale broadband rollout

Jörn Schoof began his career in 1998 at NEFkom Telekommunikations GmbH as a lawyer providing advice on strategy and regulation. He moved into a management and authorized signatory position at M-net Telekommunikations GmbH in 2004, where he supported the HR, Legal and Regulatory Affairs, and Corporate Development departments. In this role he continued his focus on strategy, with a new concentration on network expansion.

During his tenure at M-net he was promoted to Director of the Bundesverband Glasfaseranschluss e.V. (BUGLAS), and in 2012 he assumed management of Communications, Wholesale, and Legal and Regulatory Affairs.

Jörn moved to E.ON SE in 2018 as Head of Broadband. One year later he became the CEO of e.discom Telekommunikation GmbH in Potsdam. Today, he holds also the CEO position at LEW TelNet GmbH in Neusäß/Augsburg since May 2020.

The challenge of data management in large-scale broadband rollout

Guido Lürick has worked for Kiepe Elektrik GmbH & CoKG since 1992 as Head of Major Projects Special Plant Engineering and Head of After Sales. He joined Management Engineers Gmbh & CoKG in 2001 as Principal and Strategy Consultant.

Digitization is a fundamental requirement for a service orientation in an asset driven environment. It’s hard fun.

After an MSc EE at ETH in 1995, Beat Lüthi worked in the wireless and wired telecommunications industry in various positions at ASCOM, Swisscom, Ericsson and SBB.

One of the main topics was the interaction between customer benefits and technology. There they used the tools of digitization quite naturally. Since October 2019, he has been heading the service development department in the Command and Control Systems division at SBB.

The digitization options are now being gradually implemented with the goal to improve the customer value.

World Wide Wonders – The Virtual Magic Show

Simon Pierro is best known as the iPad Magician. A star on stage and TV screens for more than a decade, this critically acclaimed conjurer takes audiences to places they’ve never been, using a technological marvel they know and love — an iPad.

Online, the magic videos Simon’s created for the world’s most respected brands — along with his tremendously popular YouTube channel — have attracted a worldwide audience of more than 100 million viewers. And on U.S. television, he‘s appeared on the NBC Today show, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Penn & Teller: Fool Us and WSJ Live from The Wall Street Journal. Due to the current situation, Simon had to change and adjust his program.

However, thanks to Zoom he has now a virtual stage, through which he brings joy, amazement, and magic into the offices and living rooms of the world. And lately he was awarded Magician Of The Year 2020 by the Magic Circle.
