FNT Software Launches New Solutions to Radically Transform Telecommunications, Data Center, and Enterprise IT Operations
FNT is Expanding its Portfolio of Services with a New Suite of Point Solutions that Provide a Central Platform to Proactively Manage IT Infrastructure, Automate IT Processes, and Improve Operational Efficiencies
Parsippany, N.J., 11/12/2019
FNT Software, a leading provider of software solutions for the integrated management of IT, data center and telecommunication infrastructures, today announced the release of a new suite of software solutions that enable telecom, data center, and enterprise IT providers to keep pace with digital transformation, customer demands, and internal requirements.
The eight standardized software solutions from FNT leverage industry best practices and are preconfigured for frequently used scenarios. FNT’s Point Solutions feature an open API integration capability to facilitate automation and reconciliation and are fully scalable. Customers can transition between Basic, Standard, and Advanced levels for extended functionality as needed.
“Central documentation, planning, and management is essential to gain an accurate overview of assets, resource utilization, operational statuses,” said Sean Graham, General Manager of North America at FNT Software. “Our new suite of Point Solutions meet customer demands for standardized and preconfigured software solutions and enable customers to focus on deploying new services and business opportunities.
To help telecom providers achieve full visibility across all areas of the passive infrastructure, the FNT Cable & Outside Plant Management solution documents and plans passive internal and external networks. The Cable & Outside Plant Management solution also supports rollout and capacity management and provides detailed mapping of the cable routes in the existing Geographic Information System (GIS).
As a unified source for all physical and logical network and service information, the FNT Telco Active Inventory solution provides centralized documentation and management of all active network and service resources. Data can then be used for a wide variety of planning and engineering processes, interference suppression, and the integration into digital workflows.
FNT’s Mobile RAN Management solution supports the planning and rollout management of Mobile Radio Access Networks, RAN configuration management, site management, and RAN operations. The solution forms a single source of truth repository of the Mobile RAN and all data is available to support and improve daily operations processes.
FNT’s Hybrid Resource Management solution addresses the virtualization challenge of a service provider by building a central repository of virtualized resources with underlying physical equipment and required infrastructure resources. This solution can be combined with FNT Telco Active Inventory and FNT Mobile RAN Management to build an integrated hybrid resource repository across both traditional telecommunication infrastructure and new virtualized environment.
For data centers to operate as efficiently as possible, resource utilization must be optimized. To improve the response time and throughput of operating systems and applications, the FNT DCM Capacity Management solution optimizes all data center footprint, power, and cooling operations. This allows companies to manage and leverage their data center spatial and technical capabilities more efficiently. As a result, the right resources are always available at the right time for all types of infrastructures.
To ensure operators can fulfill customer requests quickly, the FNT DCM Connectivity Management solution schedules and manages all network connections within the data center. The Data Center Connectivity Management solution provides functionality for cable infrastructure, auto-routing, and signal tracking capabilities to route new connections and ensure end-to-end connectivity.
Ideal for enterprises and corporations with highly complex IT infrastructures, the FNT Catalog Management solution allows providers to quickly design new services based on standard components, enabling them to react fast on market demands and respond to competitors in an easy and flexible manner.
The FNT Application Infrastructure Management solution enables enterprises to holistically design, roll out, and operate state-of-the-art infrastructures for central application operations. To achieve greater operational efficiency, the solution documents and manages the complete applications infrastructure stack starting from the physical level to the application itself.
