Prerequisite: FNT Command Basic Course

In the transmission technology area, our Telco module represents the base line, the base service and the end customer service. The rules of the most important transmission protocols (e.g. SDH, PDH, DWDM, CWDM, ATM, MPLS, Ethernet) can be stored.

Content overview:
- Management of service master data for connection-oriented technologies (SDH, PDH, C/WDM) and connectionless technologies (Ethernet, MPLS)
- Creation of base services, directly on the resources of the physical network (bearer) or the resources of other base services
- Creation of end customer services on the resources of other base services
- Autorouting to determine passive and active signal paths based on various criteria (bandwidth, zone, devices, planning, …)
- Management of logical ports for the device master data and for placed devices
- Configuration of physical PTOLPs
- Assignment of persons or organizations, contracts and SLAs to services
- Assignment of QoS and TER instances to services
- Management of functional units (network elements) with the associated attributes and assignments
- Management of products with typical associated attributes and assignments
- Management of preliminary products (leased lines)
- Integrated planning functionality, including patch job
- Flexible query capabilities and reports (e.g. connected services report, device connection)
